Why You Need to Replace Your CPAP Supplies
Depending on the type of CPAP mask you choose, the replacement frequency will vary. Nasal mask cushions and nasal pillows should be replaced every 2 weeks because they sit in your nose and on your face. Full face masks, however, can be replaced every month because only the outline sits on your face and is exposed to your facial skin oils. If you’re noticing excessive leakage before your scheduled replacement, you may need to shop around for a new mask type or else replace it earlier. Every patient is unique, so both are viable options.
Replacing Your Air Filters and Tubing
Some CPAP machines have two layers of air filters, but all disposable filters should be replaced every 2 weeks to ensure that you’re breathing in clean air. This is especially true for patients with pets, and you may want to replace the filters more frequently to combat the pet hair and dander. Reusable filters should be cleaned and replaced on a less frequent cadence, depending on the type of machine you have.
Air cleanliness is also dependent on your CPAP tubing, which breaks down from moisture and air pressure, developing small holes and tears. Replace your tubing every 3 months to avoid this.
Replacing Your Headgear and Chin Strap
If this is applicable to your setup, replace your headgear and chin strap every 6 months to make sure your CPAP mask is securely strapped to your face and not leaking. After 6 months, the straps tend to lose elasticity and lead to leaks or discomfort, but new headgear and a chin strap quickly solves this issue.
Replacing Your Humidifier Water Chamber
The minerals in standard tap water cause humidifier water chambers to become cloudy, discolored or even cracked, which can trap bacteria. This is why medical professionals suggest replacing your water chamber every 6 months or sooner if you live in an area with hard water.
Replacing Your CPAP Machine
Daily use of a CPAP machine wears it out after a few years, so it’s recommended to replace the entire machine every 5 years. Experts also suggest having backup CPAP machine in case your current one needs repairs.

Three months after your first order, we’ll let you know (via email) that it’s time to replace your CPAP supplies, and we will ship out a package with a replacement mask, tubing, and filters for your CPAP machine, all including in your monthly fee.
Every package allows you to choose your preferred style of CPAP mask and the brand, make and model you prefer. You have the choice of standard tubing or heated tubing. You have the option for extended tubing options with heated tubing. Every package also includes cushions for the mask and filters for your machine
